23-03-10 TRANSPORT SELECT COMMITTEE SUPPORTS MAG!
THIS MIGHT TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ, BUT THIS IS GREAT NEWS! Parliamentary Committee backs MAG concerns over DSA ‘It will take a long time and much resource to mend what has been broken, but the Government and DSA now need to take urgent action…’ That is one of the less damning conclusions reached by a watchdog committee of MPs investigating the catastrophic implementation of the new test.
 
19-03-10 The demise of dangerous 'safety barriers' gets ever closer!
All over Europe, motorcyclists falling from their bikes run the risk of hitting the support beams of common metal rails, which can result in serious injuries or death. MAG and FEMA have been campaigning for 20 years to improve guardrail standards in Europe, to make sure they offer protection to motorcyclists and not just for four-wheeled vehicle passengers.
 
17-03-10 Massive Motorcycle Protest in France
Last weekend saw MAG's partner organisation in France, FMMC, bring cities accross France to a grinding halt. In Paris alone, 10,000 bikes came out on the streets to protest government plans to make filtering through traffic illegal. The same was repeated throughout France.

04-03-10 **IMPORTANT NEWS** Early Day Motion proposed regarding Motorcycle Tests
The campaign for the provision of testing centres moves forward a gear. In a two pronged attack, the Parliamentarians seem to be working with MAG. The day after Mark Williams MP asked probing questions in Parliament about the conduct of the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) and their failure to provide adequate m/c testing provision in Wales, Ann Main MP for St Albans has launched an Early Day Motion (EDM) in the House.

Last night 38 people braved a freezing night to ride out to Jack's Hill Cafe to support the inaugural meeting of Towcester MAG.
