19-02-2010 New MAG group in Dorset off to a great start!
The first meeting of a new MAG group in Dorchester was really well attended last Wednesday night.
With the temperature hovering around zero degrees, 36 hardy souls recieved a warm welcome from new Dorchester rep, Max, at the Black Dog Inn in Broadmayne. It was a very sociable gathering, attended by riders of all sorts of bikes, from tourers and customs to scooters, and was a perfect example of the inclusive and diverse nature of MAG.
Paddy from Central Office and Red, the Southern Regional Rep, also attended the meeting and gave brief outlines of MAG's work locally and nationally, before answering questions from the assembled riders. Volunteers came forward to fill some of the committee roles and it appears that the foundations for a healthy new group are well and truly set.
