The first Riders Are Voters Question Time in Cumbria was a great success.
The attending parliamentary candidates said they learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The event over ran somewhat because so many riders wanted to ask questions.
Over 50 riders came out on what was a terribly wet night, and were grateful of the teas/coffees and food that was available at Dave Millings bike shop in Whitehaven.
Everyone was disappointed that the Labour party failed to attend, but the assembled voters made a note of the fact.
