27-04-2011 Brighton MAG 'Get's A Grip' at Brightona!
Brighton MAG is really making its mark on the south coast. After hosting two successful Riders Are Voters question Times the Brightona Event over the Easter weekend witnessed huge interest in the GET A GRIP Campaign, with new riders joining MAG on the strength of the campaign.
The Mayor was happy to sign the GAG petition, as well as ones that are running for bike parking and access to bus lanes in Brighton and Hove.
The Mayor pointed out that although the Council doesn't own that many manhole covers, they are responsible for specifying what they want to have fitted within the council boundary. For this reason he was delighted to have been introduced to the campaign and wishes discussions to continue so that the situation can be improved as he wasn't aware that motorcycles use the road network differently from cars.
