Wednesday 17th November was the first meeting of the relaunched Coventry MAG at the Old Dyers Arms, Spon End, Coventry, CV1 3HB, from 8pm.
Over two dozen riders descended on the pub, an incredibly biker friendly venue, to meet in many instances for the first time. There were old faces and new, but the meet had a relaxed feeling and initial talks by Paddy, Nich and Rocky, soon had everyone chatting about what MAG can do in the area and the enthusiasm was obvious.
It was decided that the group would meet 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, but to be honest, the pub is so full of motorcycling memorabilia, I expect many riders have new place to hang out. The Dyers Arms is the home of the Antelope MCC and they couldn’t have made MAG feel more welcome.
Three new riders joined up on the night and there were free chocolate buttons for all! Don’t ask.
