MAG Local Group expansion continues..

Consecutive nights have seen new MAG gatherings at either end of the country.

A bracing Bank Holiday Monday evening saw the first gathering for some time, of MAG members in Northern Ireland. There was an interesting array of bikes and an enthusiasm to get things going again in the Province. The Dirty Duck pub in Holywood was the venue chosen by local riders, and attendees were a healthy mix of old and new MAG members as well as Paddy Tyson who popped over from ‘Central’. Thanks to Molly for helping to organise the meet and to all those who came along.

Then the following evening saw the first official meeting of St Albans MAG in Hertfordshire, where Rob Allen is committed to rebuilding a MAG presence and a voice for riders in the area. Again, attendance included a CG125, a GS BMW and a V-Rod, demonstrating the breadth of MAG appeal. Paddy Tyson and Ian Mutch came along to meet the members and sample the tea! St Albans MAG will be meeting every Tuesday evening at the King Harry pub in the town. Spread the word.

Next week sees the first meeting of Hexham MAG in Northumberland and the following week it’s Peak District MAG. The growth continues even as the summer ends!
