MAG’s 1st National Classic Bike Show in association with Royal Enfield

MAG’s 1st National Classic Bike Show is on Sunday 2nd October 2011, starting at 10:00am until 4.00pm at Towcester’s 1950s Jack’s Hill Transport Café.

The Café is located on the A5, Watling Street, near Towcester, North of the junction with the A43. We are hoping to make this an annual event in the classic biking calendar.

Royal Enfield will be offering test rides of all their current range, so please bring your license if you want to try one.

Prizes will be awarded to the best bikes in 1940s and earlier, 1950s, 1960s, 1970, 1980s categories, a “Best Club Stand” and an overall winner of “Best Bike in Show”. Entry to the event is free and it will also be free to enter a bike in the show.

Following some requests, Towcester MAG have arranged camping at Towcester Rugby Club from the evening of Friday 30th September. On the Friday there will be a (small) Fire Pit and chill out in the evening (no bar, but bring your own, or visit local hostelries).

On Saturday the Bar is open most of the day. There is no other catering on site, but food is available at Jacks Hill café, just around the corner or from the eateries in Towcester Town, about ½ mile away.

There is a Blues Rock band in the bar from about 8.30pm Saturday – for campers only. Cost of camping is £5.00 per person for the Saturday night and £6.00 per person for both Friday and Saturday nights. For more information on camping please contact Graham on 07828 547369.

Please help by supporting this MAG event if you can.

If you know of any stands who would like a pitch at the show or can help with marshalling on the day, please contact with Neil on classic@mag-uk.org or on 07981049349.
