The grid reference would appear in place of X
Powys County Council have agreed to put stickers on the back of road signs in the County, that give grid references of the precise location, including at locations where there is a history of accidents
Should a rider have an accident, they know exactly where they are and this would enable them and the general public to give the exact location to emergency services.
This is because of the rural nature of Powys and because of the number of Visitors that the County attracts, where road users know where they have come from and where they are going, but not their precise location inbetweeen.
