Success at London Motorcycle Show

Twenty-seventeen has seen the return of the MAG stand to the London Motorcycle Show, an event that takes place every February at Excel London.

Tim Fawthrop, Greater London MAG’s Regional Representative, was keen to ensure MAG had a place at this year’s event and pulled out all the stops to make it happen.

London’s riders are in the firing line for a number of financial penalties as well as seeing restrictions to road widths and an increase in potentially hazardous situations with the widespread use of light segregation to separate cycle lanes from the main carriageway. MAG continues to push the message that riders provide a solution to many of London’s concerns, particularly around congestion and pollution; a view that is accepted and increasingly being supported by others.

Tim says ‘All the hard work to be here and to man the stand this weekend has been worthwhile. We have signed up several new members who were previously unaware of MAG, and spoken to many riders about issues specific to those who ride in the capital. We look forward to welcoming new faces to our regular London meetings.’

MAG will continue to fight in support of all riders. The more riders that join our ranks, the easier that fight becomes. Visit Greater London MAG, find them on Facebook and Twitter, and join us to support our cause.
