Transport for London (TFL) has an ongoing consultation regarding Ultra Low Emission Zones where vehicles which don’t comply with certain Euro standards (Euro 3 for bikes) will be charged to enter those zones from 2020.
Although less than 1% of emissions are predicted to come from bikes, the planned charge is the same as that for cars, vans and minibuses.
